Schedule Your Next Visit Now

Welcome

UPDATE: Atrium Counseling Practices have resumed in-person counseling services and continue to offer telehealth.  For the safety of clients & practitioners, please be considerate and reschedule your appointment if you feel unwell (whether it be a cold or worse).  Thank you!

Atrium is a consortium of privately and individually run counseling practices.  Each practice is a wholly and legally separate entity.
We work together to ensure best practices, provide a network of professional support, and keep our costs as low as possible.

Working with a Counselor is a powerful and effective way to enact change in your life, build healthy boundaries, address old wounds, improve relationships, and learn skills for living with less stress and greater connection. Deciding to work with someone who is extensively trained, licensed, and governed by a Code of Ethics and professional standards is easy. Choosing the specific Counselor you want to work with might be a little more challenging. Meet the Therapists!

A few things to consider when choosing a practitioner:

SCHEDULE - What really works with your schedule? Consistent appointments increase success rates!
AREAS OF EXPERTISE - While all therapists receive the same foundational training in mental health, each practitioner has one (or several) areas of expertise.  Find details about each practitioner's expertise in their bio: Therapist Bios.
GENDER & AGE - Many people have beliefs about the ability of a practitioner based on gender or age. Some believe an older therapist will be more advanced in their skills or have more life experience.  Some believe younger therapists are more up to date on the latest information or may be more energetic. While every practitioner in our consortium of practices is highly skilled, be honest with yourself about how your beliefs might influence your ability to open up and feel confident in the therapeutic process.  It's ok to tell us if you have preferences or questions we might be able to answer for you.
